On 3rd April 2020 I received an email from Groundspeak:
that I was "randomly selected to receive a Community Celebration Event from Geocaching HQ".
Due to the well-known Covid Pandemic, it took longer until I could take the chance to hold this event
Geocaching has been around for 22 years.
I haven't been around that long as a geocacher,
but in my years as an active geocacher I've experienced all sorts of things to report
I'm sure others have had similar experiences.
I'm already looking forward to more reports about further adventures
with e.g. muggles, flora&fauna or recoveries of geocaches
Geocaching usually accompanies us in our usual leisure activities.
Especially on holiday, it shows exciting and sometimes touristy unknown places.
Without geocaching, you would miss a lot!
With this event, I would like to add the icing on the cake
of our Ireland geocaching holiday.
Let's get together and chat a bit about geocaching
and exchange travel bugs and coins.
We can also watch the sun go down
As far as I have seen, you can also sit together at picnic tables on site.
So I plan to bring some drinks and little snacks with me.
