Geocache Description:

CACHE IS NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES, BUT IS WITHIN TWO MILES AS THE CROW FLIES

My daughter and I had so much fun on our first time on The AMAZING RACE, that when they asked us back for an All-Stars version, we knew we had to capitolize on the opportunity!

This time it started out with Phil giving us two sheets of paper.  "This first one," he said, "shows the flags of the 25 countries some of you may visit--if you are both good and lucky.  They are in alphabetic order by country name, but that's not the order you will visit them in."

"The second sheet?  Well, you'll have to figure out what that's for as you go along," he said with a grin.

We saw that there were some countries on here that we had already been to, but we didn't mind.  But we swore to ourselves that once we had been someplace on this tour, we would skip over anyplace we'd already been to.

Phil continued: "I know you would all like to get going, so grab your gear--you're heading to Madagascar!"  And with those words, we were on our way.

This time I can tell you about our results--we didn't win, but we did fairly well for ourselves.  We wound up going to 22 of these 25 countries, finally being eliminated in Greece.  The challenge there was to plow a farmer's field, "Boustrophedonically".  I knew enough Greek to realize that had something to do with oxen, but the eventual winners knew more than I did.  Note to self: learn the meaning of 'boustrophedonic'!

Notes:

1. This cache was placed on March 24th, 2020, before the Minnesota Voluntary Quarantine went into place.  Getting the pieces formatted has taken me a couple of days.

2. I tried to get the Country flags copied as clearly as possible, but the colors and dimensions may not appear quite correct on your screen.  And, there may be slight bits of white showing because I couldn't match up exactly with the cell borders.  Ignore those, but be aware of true fields of white on a flag.  And, remember that these are in alphabetic order, as that will be important in identifying at least one of the flags.

Good Luck!
