This is a set of three Little Bridges caches on the Offa's Dyke Path as you head out of Monmouth from Watery Lane. They just happen to be on the path but have nothing to do with it really and you will only be able to complete the third if you are walking the path north to south, but they are actually placed with the intention of them being done as a small stand-alone set (mainly due to the difficulty of the third).
So the first one is easy, the second not so easy and the third more difficult due to terrain - the names of them kind of give that away!

Right then, this is the more adventurous one (you got that from the title right?!) and this is mainly due to the terrain which I am rating as a 5 due to the fact that is has the potential to be that, but under normal circumstances is probably only a 3.5/4, but I feel I have to rate it at it's most difficult, just in case. Plus, if it's a 5 then people are more likely to take note. It is also constantly changing due to it's nature.
Personally I am quite comfortable in this environment but I understand others may not be therefore here's the safety bit - just because I have placed the cache here does not mean that this area is safe, only that I was happy to do it when I placed it. If you arrive at GZ and you think it is not in your capabilities or that you do not have the correct equipment then walk away - the decision to undertake this cache (and therefore the consequences) are entirely your responsibility. Please also remember that the area can move or become loose and change over time, particularly after rain which will make things slippery and will increase the difficulty/danger.
So, take a look at the attributes to the right and bring the neccessary kit you think you will need appropriate to them (I personally just used neoprene socks/walking boots one time and waders the next. Gloves to protect my hands were useful too but it's brambly in the summer and slippy and soggy and sometimes deep in the winter. You might want a helmet of some sort too, but that is up to you).
***I would also recomend that this is not done alone, perhaps with one above and one below or whatever you think is safest. BUT the collecting of the info should be done from the 'lower' route.***
There are only a couple of stages, you don't have to go too far really and I may be over-egging it with the safety bit but better safe than sorry and I would rather people are over-prepared than under-prepared.
SO HERE WE GO:
GPS signal won't be perfect here of course but that's just part of the challenge!
STAGE 1 - This is set up as a multi letterbox hybrid so it's basically a multi cache that has a stamp in the final cache. The headline co-ords take you to the bridge in question and there you will find three numbers (which are A, B and C) that will help you find the next stage using the formula N51 48.(A+C)A(C+C) W002 45.BBC (just a quick hint - don't bother heading back onto the path to reach it - stay in the stream and follow it!) CHECKSUM HERE IS 9.
STAGE 2 - You are looking for a small post with some numbers on. The top is D and the bottom is E. Put them in this formula to get the co-ords for stage 3. N51 48.(D+B)(E-B)E W002 4(D-C).(E-C-D)C(D)
STAGE 3 - You are looking for a metal tag in a tree this time - top number is F and the bottom is G. Put them in this formula to get the co-ords for the cache. N51 48.FB(D-A) W002 4G.EGF
FINAL - Cache is tied on. Just undo the top to get the cache out rather than undoing it please. Oh, and the little fella on the stamp (which needs to stay in there of course) is just someone I thought you might encounter down here! 
From here just continue straight down the gully and you can get out close to Little Bridges # 1801 ODP2 The In-Betweeny. Best not to try and clamber out before that as the sides are steep and loose.
