Une fois n'est pas coutume, le COVID aura eu l'effet heureux de faire coïncider les events de célébration des 20 ans du geocaching avec mes 10 ans de pratique de notre passion partagée.

8 bonnes raisons de participer à cet event :

Ce sera un des tous derniers Events Celebration de la région pour les 20 ans du geocaching (toutes les bonnes choses ont une fin !)
Vous ajouterez ce type de cache spécial à votre profil :
A quelques jours près je vous invite à souffler avec moi les bougies de mes 10 ans de geocaching
Nous aurons l'occasion de nous retrouver et d'échanger autour d'un pique-nique en bord de Vienne
Nous renouerons avec les traditionnels concours de Mölkky
Comme pour tous les Events Celebration, chaque équipe partira avec son gobelet souvenir "20 ans de GC en Limousin" offert par le fond de liquidation de Geolim
Quelques TB exclusifs "20 ans de geocaching en Limousin" seront mis en jeu
Cache Village et votre serviteur vous offriront quelques goodies de circonstance : aucun participant ne repartira les mains vides !

Programme détaillé :

11:00 : Début de l'event. Accueil sur place pour commencer à discuter geocaching, échanger badges et objets voyageurs, signature du logbook, inscriptions pour le concours de Mölkky, constitution des équipes.
12:00 : Apéritif et pique-nique sorti du sac (des tables devraient être disponibles mais en nombre limité : n'hésitez pas à prendre vos équipements !).
13:30 : Nous soufflerons les bougies des 10 et 20 ans. Fin de l'event officiel.
14:00 : Concours de Mölkky suivi de la remise des prix (activité facultative).

Quelques petits conseils :

Pour vous inscrire à l'event, il faut loguer un "will attend".
Il est fortement conseillé d'ajouter l'event dans votre liste de suivi pour être informé des modifications ou autres actualités à venir concernant l'event.
Munissez-vous le jour J de vos travel bugs et geocoins : ce sera le moment de les "découvrir" ou de les échanger.
Pour les équipes qui en possèdent, merci de venir avec votre jeu de Mölkky pour l'activité facultative

Pourquoi "VER(T)" ?
Ma première cache posée (GC3VHY2) était une boîte verte, avec un stylo vert, un log book vert et des objets d'échange verts. Ainsi est née l'idée de placer les caches qui ont suivi sous le signe du "VERT" . C'est devenu ma "marque de fabrique" !

Célébrations communautaires – 2020

Cet événement fait partie d’une série limitée d’events de célébration de la communauté pour célébrer 20 ans du geocaching. Once is not tradition, COVID had the happy effect of making the events celebrating 20 years of geocaching coincide with my 10 years of practicing our shared passion.

River banks of LIMOGES

8 good reasons to participate in this event:

It will be one of the last Events Celebration of the region for the 20 years of geocaching (all good things have an end!)
You will add this type of special cache to your profile:
Almost to the day, I invite you to blow with me the candles of my 10 years of geocaching
We will have the opportunity to meet and exchange around a picnic on the river banks of Limoges
We will return to the traditional Mölkky competitions
As for all Events Celebration, each team will leave with their souvenir cup "20 ans de GC in Limousin" offered by the Geolim liquidation fund
Some exclusive TB "20 years of geocaching in Limousin" will be jeopardized
Cache Village and the owner will offer you some goodies of circumstance: no participant will leave empty-handed!

Detailed Program:

11:00 : Start of the event. On-site welcome to start discussing geocaching, exchange badges and trackables, signature of the logbook, registration for the Mölkky contest, teams building.
12:00 : Aperitif and picnic out of the bag (tables should be available but in limited number: don’t hesitate to take your equipment!).
13:30 : We will blow out the candles of the 10 and 20 years. End of the official event.
14:00 : Mölkky competition followed by prize giving (optional activity).

A few tips:

To register for the event, you must log a "will attend".
It is strongly recommended to add the event to your tracking list to be informed of any upcoming changes or news regarding the event.
Take your travel bugs and geocoins with you on D-Day: it will be the time to "discover" or exchange them.
For teams that have them, please come with your Mölkky game for the optional activity

Why "VER(T)"?
My first geocache (GC3VHY2) was a green box, with a green pen, a greenlog book and green items for exchange. So was born the idea to place the caches which followed under the sign of the "VERT" ("GREEN" in French). It's now my "trademark"!
