Attend a CITO from Sunday 1st March through to Sunday 31st May 2020 and get a souvenir
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).
Where: Meet us on The Mound (published co-ordinates), look out for the Countryside Rangers Truck.
What: Grab your buckets and lets get mulching! We will be using the mulch from recycled wood chips from tree works around the city and last years Christmas Trees. Mulching suppresses weed growth and conserves water around our new trees.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and gloves, bring a bucket if you have one.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction. They will introduce the session and do the health and safety brief prior to work commencing. Please note that we will be mulching trees that are behind a barbed wire fence.
