AGT(G) - Lagar Museu

Palácio Visconde d'Olivã

Inteiramente dedicado à olivicultura, uma das atividades agrícolas mais importantes do concelho, o museu está instalado no antigo lagar de azeite do Palácio do Visconde d'Olivã, um edifício de inestimável valor patrimonial e histórico, que a Autarquia tem vindo a recuperar.

Estruturado para funcionar como um espaço único, o museu apresenta, no entanto, áreas distintas.

Partindo do seu núcleo, onde é recriado um lagar de azeite e todo o seu funcionamento, o visitante tem ainda acesso a uma sala multimédia, à zona de etnografia e à de exposições temporárias.

Visconde d'Olivã Palace

Entirely dedicated to olive growing, one of the most important agricultural activities in the municipality, the museum is installed in the old olive oil mill of the Palace the Visconde d'Olivã, a building of inestimable heritage and historical value, which the Municipality has been recovering.

Structured to function as a unique space, however, the museum presents different areas.

Starting from its core, where an oil press is recreated and all its functionality, the visitor also has access to a multimedia room, the ethnography area and the temporary exhibitions area.

O container encontra-se num jardim interior pelo que é necessário conjugar a sua visita com o horário do local.

Nota: O Museu encontra-se encerrado para obras até ao final de Novembro mas o Jardim interior onde se encontra o container está acessível no horário indicado.
