A Fine Pair # 1436 ~ Tonedale Multi-cache

This is a number in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.

The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

At two different stages you will need to collect some info. You will then need do some sums that will help you obtain the correct coords to find the cache.

At each stage, there is roadside parking available but we haven't given any coords.

First you will need to go to the Posted Coords that will take you to the Fine Pair. On the post box there is a TA number the first digit will give you A

Next to the Fine Pair there is a telegraph pole, on the telegraph pole there is a small metal plaque, the third digit will give you B

Next you will need to go to Stage 2 - Parcel Box which is at: N 50 59.132 W 003 14.519 the parcel box also has a TA number, the fifth digit after TA will give you C

Behind the Parcel Box there is a gray plaque, if you take the number on the plaque and plus 2 this will give you D

If you walk a short distance down the path from the parcel box you will find a green wooden door that has curved steps in front of it, on the wall next to this door you will find a purple plastic plaque, on the plaque there is a date. The second digit of the date will give you E. If you add the first two digits of the date on this plaque together this will give you F

By now you should have all the info that you need. Here is a checksum : A+B+C+D+E+F = 34

The cache is a fair distance away so we do suggest that you drive to GZ.
