"The Happening" is a monthly meet-up for cachers in the Herts/Beds/Cambs area. All cachers, other halves and guests are very welcome.
The Red Lion in Grantchester is the venue for this month's Happening event. The pub is very easy to find, as Grantchester is very small and the pub is right in the centre of the village. Expect the usual geochatter over a pint or two -- and there are quite a few standalone caches and trails in the area (the Grantchester Grind series goes right past the front door of the pub!) if you wish to come early and get a few finds in.
The event runs from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Attendance for the entire duration is certainly not required, of course, although Ben (benjw1) and probably a few others will be there throughout, so feel free to turn up at any time. Look for the excitingly-coloured The Happening Ammo Box on our table -- we don't have any specific table booked, but the pub is not usually very busy on weekday evenings so you will be able to spot us easily.
The pub also serves food from midday until 9pm, if anybody wishes to eat -- although you may find it a little pricey. Mains are typically £12 - £18, plus a 10% service charge. A menu is available on the pub's website. Order at the bar when you get here.
