Legend speaks of a sleeping bat that emerges every 21 years to scare folks.

They were looking for a few brave folks willing to host an event, then gather these pesky bats before they look in the mirror and turn into mini vampires.
I heeded the call and took on the task to make sure that Western Australia would not suffer a fate worse than... missing out on this cool Snag the Tag game.

There will be 9 bat tags hidden.

 They will publish on the snag the tag website randomly between October 24 and October 30, the morning of the event. 

 Find a tag (bat) then claim it on the Snag the Tag website, bring the bat to this event to redeem it for a trackable Gothic mirror geocoin!

The game starts on October 24th.

To keep it all fair and above board, only 1 Finder tag/coin may be claimed by any single person, cache team, family or household. 

Finders must have a Geocaching account and a Snag the Tag account for redemption. 

No purchase is necessary.

All geocachers are welcome to attend this event, even if you haven't found a tag or plan on participating in the Snag the Tag game

There is a very limited amount of event coins for prepurchase while supplies last, with collection at the event.

Snag the Tag is a FTF game within Geocaching, it has been around for several years now and a few WA cachers are doing their best to help it grow in Australia.

Did I mention it involves Geocoins for free?

 The game is as simple as, get there first.

All you do is find the tag and claim it online for a cool trackable geocoin prize. (for this game coins are at the event)

It combines the thrill of the hunt, a fun location and a cool trackable prize!

Snag the Tag has partnered with GCHQ, and other geocaching organizations, and their games are a big hit.
