A Community Celebration Event

Join us at Oakwoods Metropark on Sunday, November 14th as we (COVID responsibly) socialize, and celebrate 20+ years of geocaching and the reopening of the nature center (and its new exhibits). We will have some new caches, snacks, and a few surprises too.

Community Celebration Events - 2020

This Event is part of a limited release of Community Celebration Events to celebrate 20 years of geocaching. Geocachers hosted events between May 2, 2020 and December 31, 2020. Learn more about Community Celebration Events on the Geocaching Blog.

This event is located in Oakwoods Metropark. A Metroparks vehicle permit is required for entry to the parks: $10 daily pass, $40 annual pass, $29 annual seniors pass. All park rules and regulations apply. Please park in parking lots only. For general information please call 810-227-2752, or visit www.metroparks.com. Dogs on a leash are allowed in this section of the park. The park hours are 6 am - 10 pm.

A Metropark geocaching permit has been filed and approved by Kevin Arnold (Southern District Interpretive Supervisor).
