Socks: Attention all. Discover Central Point 2020 Geocoin challenge is being postponed until further notice. We will be looking at having the event in June but will wait to publish a new date once things are cleared through local health authorities and the CDC. Come join the fun as we kick-off our Fourth Annual Discover Central Point Geocoin Challenge on Blue Switch Day!  



Pick up your passport starting on Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm in Rec A located at 405 S. 4th Street, Central Point, OR 97502


This geocache series, which consists of 5 traditional caches and 15 temporary caches, will lead cachers to city parks and sights in and around Central Point. Limited edition (150 available) Discover Central Point Geocoins will be awarded to those who complete the geocache series! 


This kick-off event will include a raffle which will take place in Rec A at 2:00 pm. Anyone who brings in a an item to be raffled off will get an extra raffle ticket (1 per person).  Southern Oregon Geocaching will be hosting a travel bug table for discovery and possible trades. 


After the kick-off event, passports to the series can be picked up at and/or returned to Central Point City Hall / 140 S 3rd Street / Central Point (541-423-1978) Monday - Friday between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 - 5:00 pm. After hours location: Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 285 Peninger Road, Central Point.   The series will continue until all 150 coins are awarded!
