CAM KICK-OFF EVENT

In conjunction with the opening day of Cache Across Maryland 2020, MGS is hosting kick-off events in locations throughout Maryland: West (Washington), North (Harford), Central (Howard), South (Charles), and East (Wicomico).

The purpose of these events is to offer assistance with loading GPX files onto GPSr devices or phones, and to provide an introduction to CAM for first-time CAM participants. All geocachers are welcome to attend. Even if you do not intend to participate in CAM this year, please feel free to join us for some good ol’ geosocializing!

This event will be hosted by the MGS Treasurer (lpaulriddle). Purchase of food or beverage is not required to attend. Each attendee is responsible for the cost of his or her own purchases. If you bring a trackable item to the event, please be certain it is claimed before you leave.

About CAM:

You do not need to be an MGS member to participate in CAM. As in previous years, the CAM cache listings, GPX files, and other information will be available for download from the MGS Forums, via email and DropBox around 8:00am on March 14th. These files will also be available at this event. The files will NOT be made available to event attendees before they publish on the MGS Forums so as not to give attendees an unfair advantage.
