With kind permission and help from the team at Wentworth Castle Gardens, I will be hosting an event in the Blackbourn Room in the big glass Victorian conservatory at 10.15am.
It will be lovely to see some familiar caching faces, new cachers and to be able to "put a face to a username"
Free parking in the main car park is available from 10am and we have been granted free access to the site for all event attendees. (To make use of this free entry - you must be a geocaching member - with username and have logged to attend. Please list names of any children who do not have accounts in your log for free entry too) If you have a National Trust membership, please still scan your card at the ticket office as the site benefits from all NT visits.
There will be some basic refreshments, TB swaps and plenty of time to have a wander after to find a cache or two...
Please join me for my first ever Geocaching event!
Wentworth Castle Gardens is now open to visitors daily from 10am until 3.30pm (last admission 4.15pm). The car park is expected to be busy on the 1st, so please do arrive in good time and car share where possible. There is a gift shop and wonderful cafe on site for more substantial snacks, meals and drinks.
