Uma visita guiada ao magnífico céu noturno de Monsaraz, onde se pode aprender a orientação pela polar, identificar as constelações e conhecer as suas lendas, relacionar a cor das estrelas com as suas idades, observar enxames de estrelas, nebulosas e galáxias distantes com a ajuda de telescópios. As explicações são feitas em linguagem acessível pelos guias do OLA. Quando o céu está nublado, recorremos a uma simulação usando um software para astronomia.
Nota: A sessão dura duas horas. Recomendamos que traga agasalho para a sessão, pois a parte de observação decorre no exterior e por vezes as noites podem arrefecer.

A guided tour of the magnificent night sky of Monsaraz, where one can learn the orientation by the North Star, identify the constellations and know their legends, relate stellar colours with their ages, observe star clusters, nebulas and distant galaxies with the help of our telescopes. The explanations are presented with clear examples and simple language by OLA’s guides. When the weather is cloudy, we resort to a simulation using astronomy software.
Note: The session last two hours. We recommend you to bring warm clothes as it might get cold at night.
