Attend a CITO from Sunday 1st March through to Sunday 31st May 2020 and get a souvenir
Parking: In the main car park, which is free. See waypoint.
Where: We will meet at the given coordinates which is close to the car park and pretty flat.
What: Clearing fencing around a large old paddock just off the car park. We will be having a bonfire too to get rid of the old wood. This continues a project the Countryside Rangers have started to increase the amenity space for the visitors of the country park to enjoy. Historically this area was amenity grassland and with the increase of visitors and closing of the farm we are now returning it to grassland.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing tools and guidance.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under their instruction.The Park Ranger will introduce the session and do the health and safety bit prior to work commencing. There is no barbed wire but there will be nails, stock mesh etc and with the addition of the bonfire children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
