[Un tour en Touraine] Rouziers-de-Touraine Traditional Geocache

Rouziers-de-Touraine est une commune d'Indre-et-Loire (37), située dans la Gâtine Tourangelle, à environ 12 km au Nord de Tours. 

En vous promenant autour de la cache, vous pourrez voir :

 - l'église Saint-Symphorien construite au XIIème siècle puis agrandie au XVIème siècle, qui fit l'objet d'une restauration en 2012-13 ;

 - le château privé des Grandes-Maisons datant du XVIème siècle, qui fut un logis seigneurial appelé autrefois Hôtel de la Cour ;

 - l'ancien bureau de poste du XIXème siècle ;

 - un ancienne pompe à eau.

Rouziers-de-Touraine is a commune of Indre-et-Loire (37), located in the Gâtine Tourangelle, about 12 km north of Tours.

While walking around the cache, you will see:

- the Saint-Symphorien church built in the 12th century then enlarged in the 16th century, which was restored in 2012-13;

- the private castle of the Grandes-Maisons dating from the 16th century, which was a stately home formerly called Hôtel de la Cour;

- the old post office of the 19th century;

- an old water pump.
