Le bois d'Haringzelle : Le parking
Ce bois a été créé en 1940 par les allemands
pour dissimuler la construction des batteries Todt
destinées à tirer des obus sur les navires empruntant
le détroit du Pas-de-Calais.
Des arbres adultes des forêts de Boulogne et de Desvres
ont été transplantés à cet endroit.
Il est maintenant protégé par le conservatoire du littoral.
On y trouve un musée militaire
et la maison du Site des 2 Caps.
Se munir d'une pince à épiler et de bottes à la mauvaise saison.
Haringzelle wood : The park
This wood was created in 1940 by the Germans
to conceal the construction of the Todt batteries
intended for firing shells on ships using
the Strait of Pas-de-Calais.
Adult trees from the forests of Boulogne and Desvres
were transplanted to this location.
It is now protected by the coastal conservatory.
There is a military museum
and the house of the Site des 2 Caps.
Bring tweezers and boots in the bad season.
