TUBE SideTracked – White City
I took a day off to make some essential purchases nearby, taking advantage of whatever Sales that remained after Christmas. On the way back, I placed this cache, as I always thought this SideTracked gap needed filling. It would also provide something for the keen cachers to do, while their folks are occupied at the shopping centre.
The station received an award in 2009 for its modernisation work performed in 2008. I must say, having looked around the front hall today, they did do a good job. The brown fitting mid way up the walls that go around three sides of the hall has A dented lines running in parallel. The big traditional looking clock sits B whole-height bricks above the brown fitting (please do not count half height bricks). There are also C ticket office windows.
The small magnetic cache is located a short walk away outside the station, here: N51°30.(202xC)+(10xB), W000°13.(A-C)AC. You will need to be stealthy as it could be rather busy. Please have tweezers and a pen ready for the admin.
