#OptOutside is a real thing! The day after much thanks has been given and lots of traditional thanksgiving meals have been enjoyed, we are encouraged to get outside and move! So this beautiful park in the heart of Prescott Valley is a sweet place to do just that! This is a re-do of an event that was postponed from May 2020 (hence the plus TWO for 2 years later), that originally was called From Stash to Geocache (see gallery).
Let's get together and celebrate that we CAN get together outside!!!!! YOU are invited to join fellow geocachers at this official 20th+ TWO year COMMUNITY CELEBRATION EVENT! This special event cache icon will only be available til the last day of 2022. Those who attend the celebration will receive a special "20 years event icon" plus a new souvenir to their geocaching profile (if you have not already previously attended a unique community celebration event.)

Location: Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley, AZ in a large open air pavilion N34 36.147 W112 19.132
When: Friday, November 25th AKA Black Friday in the U.S.A. The day after Thanksgiving from 1-3pm
Bring: One or more non perishable items for the local food bank. Each item will then be exchanged for a raffle ticket. Not sure how much eating we will want to do the day after Thanksgiving, and right after lunchtime, so please bring your own food and drink (yet feel free to bring snacks to share). (NO glass/no alcohol per park rules.) You can bring a lawn chair if you don't want to sit at one of the tables, or prefer to be out in the sunshine.
Wear: Any of your favorite geocaching clothing- t-shirts, caps (layers are good this time of year), although the weather report looks pretty promising for a really nice day.
Planning to go to the largest covered area for the event (see gallery photo), but if we need to adjust location I will send an announcement. All are invited as we are looking forward to visitors from far and wide. Make a weekend out of it as Prescott area has many amazing geocaches and some FUN local geocachers!
