Let's join together at Centennial Park, Dec.31,2022 for Geocaching's 20th Anniversary! (actually 22nd now) The Event will begin at 12:30 pm and last until 2:30 pm. Please bring a chair if you want one, as there are none provided at this location. We will meet rain, shine or snow. Depending on the size of the group we might have to move out into the grass to accommodate the cachers. Feel free to come prepared to share your favorite caching story or just to listen to the stories. If you would like to bring TB's or Geocoins for discover or to be moved along feel free. We will have a log sheet to commemorate the event and will also be taking a group photo at 2:15 pm right before the event draws to an end. If unable to stay for the group photo, please feel free to take a selfie with us and post with your log sheet! Everybody can stay as long as they like or they can hit the trail running hunting geocaches, maybe Adventure Labs or just trying to stay warm. This event was originally scheduled back in May of 2020 and then covid rocked the world. Lets finish 2022 of with a last Community Celebration Event. Happy Caching and lets see what 2023 holds in store for us.........

Kick off the celebration of 20 years of geocaching with a Big Blue Switch souvenir! Find any geocache or attend any event on Saturday, May 2, and you’ll earn a new digital souvenir for your geocaching profile!

Entering into 20 years of geocaching we want to celebrate what’s most important: The community creating the game! These Events will enable cachers around the world to commemorate the 20th anniversary of geocaching with a new icon and souvenir.
