This event was originally planned for over 2 years ago, but cancelled twice for obvious reasons. All the text below is from the original cache I submitted in early 2020.
Join us for one of a number of Community Celebration events happening in Ireland this year. There will only be a small number of events during these 8 months which if attended will award a special icon and souvenir.
In addition to 20 years of geocaching, this year is special to me as it marks 15 years since I found my first cache. I never thought I would still be out hunting treasure so many years later, but I've thoroughly enjoyed the hobby and have met many people and seen so many great places.
The event will take place in The Forty Foot in Dun Laoghaire. They serve drink and mediocre food, but there is no rquirement to purchase anything when you're there.
