Dentro do parque Trianon obras de arte a céu aberto é que fazem as honras e cumprimentam turistas e moradores. Uma escultura, em especial, é capaz de instigar os mais curiosos a tocar-lhes da cabeça aos dedos do pé. Figura mitológica, o Fauno parece guardar e preservar este grande espaço verde no meio da selva de pedra.
Fauno
Num pedestal de quase dois metros, o Fauno, do artista ítalo-brasileiro Victor Brecheret (1894-1955), mostra-se imponente. Também, pudera: a peça em granito e bronze , esculpida em 1942, tem quase três metros e meio de altura. Metade homem, metade cabra, e, este deus romano – protetor dos pastores e dos rebanhos – está agachado sobre uma pedra, segurando um cacho de uvas numa mão e, na outra, uma flauta.

O acesso ao parque Trianon é bem fácil, você pode ir de ônibus (tem várias linhas que fazem a Av Paulista) ou metrô (descer na Estação Trianon-Masp – linha verde). Não há estacionamento no parque.

Mythological figure, the Faun seems to guard and preserve this large green space in the middle of the stone jungle.
Faun
On a pedestal of almost two meters, Fauno, by Italian-Brazilian artist Victor Brecheret (1894-1955), is imposing. The piece in granite and bronze, carved in 1942, is almost three and a half meters high. Half man, half goat, and this Roman god - protector of shepherds and flocks - is crouching on a rock, holding a bunch of grapes in one hand and a flute in the other.

Access to Trianon park is very easy, you can go by bus (there are several lines that make Av Paulista) or subway (get off at Trianon-Masp Station - green line). There is no parking in the park.
