This is another in the wonderful series of church micro caches.
This is a small church in Ilkeston and on a busy road, so parking might be advisable on a side street.
About this church
According to the local Ilkeston and district history society webpage, meetings began here about 1875 to provide a place of worship for migrant families from Staffordshire whose Menfolk had come to Ilkeston to work at the Trowell forge.
The cache is a tiny one and not on the church grounds but very near, so near in fact if you have long arms you could touch the church.
Church Micro Series
Hopefully this cache will encourage others to contribute to the world's largest series. If anybody would like to expand to this series, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
