Geocache Description:

Coveney is a village in Cambridgeshire. Several bronze axes, shields and a few swords, have been found here, all dating from the late Bronze Age. Coveney is on a small 'island' rising to 43 feet (13 m) above sea level,3.5 miles (6 km) west of Ely city.

At the posted coordinates you will find the village sign and the pound, but you will not find the cache. To find the cache you need to solve the puzzle.

N 52 (2D) (5E). (7E) (8C) (8H) ......E 000 (2E) (4B). (5H) (6J) (4H)

Village signs is a series of caches based on the ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up (normally on the village green!).The signs can be made of different materials from fibreglass to wood, from forged steel to stone. They can depict anything from local industry to historical events. The tradition probably stated in Norfolk or Suffolk and has now spread across most of the country.
If anybody would like to expand the Village Sign Series, please do. I would ask that you request a number for your cache first at www.villagesignseries.co.uk so we can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
