Event
The 2020 New Years event will take place at Kelburn Windfarm Carpark. The event will start at 0930am at the posted coordinates where we can chat about the Geocaching adventures over the festive season.
Post Event Walk
A walk will take place after the event at 10.00am that is optional and everyone is welcome to join, up towards Blaeloch Hill. The walk starts and finishes at the event coordinates. The walk is approximately 9K in length with approximately a few hundred meters accent, and will take around 3 to 3.5 hours to complete including taking in some caches. The walk should provide stunning views, dependent on weather.
Walking boots are highly recommended as some areas may be muddy and slippery after rainfall. We will be out in the open so please dress appropriately for the conditions and you should have warm clothes, wet gear, water and food with you.
