CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?
1886 was a monumental year
Alexander’s telephone made it possible to hear.
People far away could talk to you at home
Like they were in the room except you were alone.
Not too long ago if you had to make a call
you couldn’t use a cell phone, you hadn’t one at all.
If you weren’t at home or were somewhere out of town
you had to use a public phone, you had to look around.
If you finally found one you had to have some change
Compared to modern times it all seems quite insane.
If you didn’t know the number you had to use the book
and when your call was finished you hung it on a hook.
Now this cache will take you back into a different time
back into the age when we had to use land-lines.
This puzzle isn’t hard but you’ll finish saying “wow”!
I promise it is worth it, can you hear me now?

Because this geocache requires joining half coordinates a stand alone GPS or easy to use app would be helpful, (some find the Groundspeak app a little clumsy).
