Der Cache
Der Cache befindet sich im Gewann Viehstelle, nahe der gleichnamigen Schutzhütte nebst Grillstelle und Teich. Er liegt talseitig am Wegrand des Wasserfallsteigs, einer der fünf "Grafensteige" in und um Bad Urach, welcher 2016 als "Schönster Wanderweg Deutschlands" ausgezeichnet wurde. Man kann den Cache gut auf einer Wanderung entlang des Wasserfallsteigs mitnehmen. Weitere Informationen zu diesem finden Sie auf der Bad Urach Tourismus Seite oder in diesem Video. Alternativ kann man auch die Schutzhütte angehen und dort nach Belieben grillen. Die Hütte befindet sich nicht direkt am Wasserfallsteig.
Das Ziel ist auf einem befestigten Wanderweg erreichbar, lediglich um den Schatz zu heben muss man ca. 5 Meter die Wiese am Wegesrand betreten. Bitte bleibt auf den befestigten Schotterwegen und geht nicht querfeldein über die Wiesen, da diese Privatgrundstücke sind! Von der Schutzhütte aus muss man also das Tal auslaufen.
Die Dose sollte einfach zu finden sein, am Zielort wird man mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Hohen Urach, das Wahrzeichen der Stadt, belohnt. Der Cache bietet Platz für Tauschgegenstände und Travel Bugs.
The Cache
The cache is located in the Viehstelle area, near a shelter with barbecue place and pond. It's placed valley side at the Wasserfallsteig ("waterfall walkway"), one of the five "Grafensteige" ("earl walkways") in and around Bad Urach, which was awarded as the most beautiful walkway of Germany in 2016. You can get the cache easily on a tour round the waterfall walkway. For more information about it, visit the Bad Urach Tourism Website or watch this video. Alternatively, you can walk to the shelter and barbecue if you like. The shelter is not directly at the waterfall walkway.
The goal can be reached on a gravel way, only in order to pick the cache it's mandatory to go about 5 meters onto a meadow. Please stick to the gravel ways and do not walk across country through the meadows as they are private property! This means that from the shelter, you have to walk round the valley.
The box should be easy to find, at the destination you are rewarded with an amazing view towards the Hohen Urach, the landmark of the city. The cache provides space for exchange objects and travel bugs.
