Geocache Description:

14 November 2019, 19:00 - 20:30

If you are reading this, then chances are you have already done some geocaching.  But, if you are new to the game, you probably still have some questions about geocaching 'rules' and etiquette.  I know I did (still do).  The purpose of this event is to answer some of those nagging questions.  "What's an attribute and why are they important?"  "How do I know how to rate my terrain or difficulty level?"  "How can I get the best out of my GPS unit?"  The event is aimed at new cachers and cacher wannabes.  The format will be casual and informal and, hopefully, informative.  The first hour will be dedicated to the newbies and then we will walk together to find a nearby cache.  Think of it - 2 smilies at once.

The last half hour is open to everyone who may just want to stop by and have a coffee and a little treat and talk about geocaching their geocaching adventures 9and get a smiley). It will also be an opportunity to exchange a travel bug or two and maybe purchase some geocaching paraphernalia.

Located in the Riverview Community Club.
