MOGA 2020

Competition Registration

Welcome to the Official MOGA 2020 Competition Registration and Geocache Download Event. The coordinates at the top of the page will take you to the Mark Twain Lake Visitors Center where you can register for the Saturday MOGA competitions, download all of the geocaches that will be assigned for the competitions, download the kids caches and much more. This event will start at 5:00pm and run until 8:00pm. This event is free to attend, but the cost to register for a competition is $5 per person.

Competitions

There will be four competitions available. The Individual, the 2 person, the 4 person, and the 2 person puzzle Competitions. All competitions will be held at the Indian Creek Recreation Area except the puzzle competition, which will be held at the Mark Twain Visitors Center. There will be award coins awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category and/or age group. The award coins will be trackable thru Geocaching.com and provided by AFK and GC Trackables.  The award coins will be Gold, Silver, and Bronze colored metals and have a lanyard attached.

Age Groups

The age groups will be as follows:

30 and under

31 to 49

50 to 64

65 and over

There will be no age groups for the 2 person puzzle competition. For the 2 person team competition, your age group will be the average of the two ages. For the four person competition, if three competitors fall in one of the four age groups, that age group will be assigned to that team. EXAMPLE: Person #1 is 15, # 2 is 28, #3 is 30, and #4 is 58, this team will fall in the 30 and under category. If there are not three people in one age group, then the average age of all four will be the age group your team will fall in.
