Main part of this event will be watching Gerocaching International Film Festival (http://www.geocachingfilmfestival.com/about-giff) finalists reel in good company of geocachers. Event will take place in small cinema room in Brickell area.
I am Slovenian cacher who is staying in Miami for half a year. In Slovenia we have a tradition of really big GIFF event. As I will not be able to attend it this year, I decided to organize event in Miami. 😊
We will also vote for the best GIFF movie of Miami . We will make a group picture that I will send to the author of winning movie. Everyone who will vote will be in draw for geocaching prizes - with best prize being unique Geocaching shirt from Slovenian Geocaching club. The proud owner will be then able to look like these gentelmen below 😎:
After the draw there will be time for Geocaching talk and exchange of trackables. So bring all your fancy collection of trackables and SWAG to exchange it!
First 9 people who will apply in this listing will get cinema seats. For others - please bring your own cosy portable chair - e.g. camping one. For those who do not own such chair, there will be some club chairs available.
There are many grocery stores around (one actually just across the street) so no reason to not bring some drinks, snacks or popcorn with you 😉
Please be on time as we have to let you in the building!
We will finish around 21:00.
Maximum number of people to attend this event is 25 due to space constraints and I will post additional information in the event announcements so make sure to "will attend" soon!
