In 2004 I attended the second Geowoodsock. It was hosted in Nashville Tennessee where at the time geocaching was proudly proclaimed as being "about the numbers". The inspiration for this cache comes from NashvilleJoe who created a series of Steeplechase caches.
Coming from Nashville you might be thinking Steeplechase was a reference to horse races, or maybe you're into the Olympics and you are thinking of athletes running down the track whilst jumping steeples, or maybe you like cute puppies doing the same, but no, it's a chase for steeples on buildings.
I had the great pleasure of visiting the pictured steeple in 2004 with Genius Loci. Instead of my buddy Joe feeling the spirit of the place, it was me. I grabbed my camera and laid down in the middle of the parking lot and took the photo to the right. I wish there were more recognition of architectural structures in the game, be it steeples, gargoyles or other unique structures and ornamentation.
HOW TO SOLVE THE PUZZLE:
At the posted coordinated note the name on the building with the steeple. Count the number of letters in each word and complete the following math.
1) Second word minus the fourth word = A
2) Fifth word = B
3) First word minus fourth word = C
4) Third word plus fifth word = X
5) Third word = Y
6) Third word plus the fourth word = Z
