One year ago, we attended our first GIFF (Geocaching International Film Festival) in Taipei. Not only was that our first GIFF, but also our first event ever since we started geocaching. For the past year, our passion for geocaching has grown exponentially, taking us to countless interesting places and meeting incredible geocachers in our community and from afar! This exciting journey has inspired our very own budding geocacher to submit a video for GIFF 2019. Unfortunately, his video was not selected into the final list. Nonetheless, in order to recognize his efforts and to take part in this global geocaching movie experience, we are hosting an official GIFF 2019 event in Taipei! It is our first time to host an event, too!

The room reserved has enough “seats” for 18-20 people. Please log a WILL ATTEND so we can have an estimated head count. I’m sure we could fit more in the room and it would be much cozier! By attending, you will also earn a virtual souvenir from Geocaching HQ for GIFF 2019.
The event will begin at 4:30pm and the screening to begin promptly at 5:00pm. The reel will run for about an hour and we will end the event at 6:30pm. Some light snacks and beverages will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite and if you’d like to share (no alcohol). Please remember we have to clean the room up when done.
