Where: Lower Crooked Lake boat ramp in Barry County
What: This is the event to organize the group For a 2-3 hour tour of this fine lake. . Everyone is welcome, even those not able to or willing to join us on the water. I will be there no matter what, but if it’s crazy windy or raining, this event will not continue onto the water. It is weather dependent. No need for added risk.
Additional Info: Welcome to Lower Crooked Lake. This 417 Acre Lake has a singe boat ramp at the SW corner of the lake. There are a few houses and a seasonal Camp on the lake. The rest of the lake is bordered by Michigan State University Lux Arbor Reserve. This lake flows into Upper Crooked Lake via a small culvert to the north. This is a great Kayak & canoe Lake. Large Mouth Bass, pan, Pike and Muskie can be caught on this fishing lake. It should take us about 2-3 hours to navigate this lake.
I have one extra kayak and paddle if someone should need it please advise.
PS. If you decided to join us on the lake, there is a $7.00 fee. To not pay it you risk a $100.00 ticket.
