A geocaching meet at Limassol marina, for a 'taste of Cyprus'(!) I'm in the area with caching friends to pick up a few caches and cross off my final 'visited but not cached in' country (Pathos, 1995?) and we'd love to meet some locals - and not-so-locals - while we're in town.
Where: At Limassol's Pizza Hut (a taste of home) - 2, Plateia Sintagmatos, Building F3, Marina Limassol, Limassol 3036, Cyprus - at the given co-ords. (Not pictured. That's our 2020 Mega venue. Nice, eh?)
When: Thursday, the 28th of November from 6.30pm 'til 8pm, or 28.11.19 18:30-20:00 if you prefer.
Why: Bringing news of next summer's Geolympix Mega* event to the good cachers of Cyprus and beyond. Also, I like to host an event on my travels when I can because it's the best way to meet other cachers and get help with local Puzzles I'm usually struggling with ;)
What: A classic restaurant cache meet, with food and drink available. A chance to swap Travel Items (anything to go to the UK is good) and tall tales of caching, plus compulsory hearing about the Geolympix, which is returning in 2020 to a stunning country house in Buckinghamshire, England. Think Downton Abbey with Geocaching!
Who: Cachers from far and wide, with a special warm welcome to those new to caching or cache events.
