Geocache Description:

09 November 2019, 13:00 - 17:30

This event is open to ALL Geocachers.

The starting instructions are at a premium cache, but the coords are listed below so that you do not need to be premium to access them.

Everyone is welcome to attend the final gathering whether you participated in the Poker Run or not, the more the merrier.

If you are Participating in the Poker Run:

The Poker Run will start at geocache GC7PBEN named  7 Hwy Hollow Gems.

The coordinates for this starting point geocache are  N 38° 18.598  W 093° 33.627

Participants will pick up the poker run instructions which will be available from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. The Poker Run is not a timed event, so participants will be able to take their time and possibly find some other local caches as long as you are at the final meeting place no later than 4:30pm.

The event will end at the coordinates on the cache page.

(Only one poker hand may be played per Geocaching name and only one name will be allowed per person.)

The poker run will consist of up to seven geocaches.  We hope to have at least 10 new caches published for the event.  Only 5 geocaches will need to be found to make a hand and participate in the poker contest, but 7 caches will have items to take to trade for cards at the end meeting place.  If you find all 7 geocaches that contain poker run items, you will be able to draw 5 cards first, then 2 additional ones to make the best hand possible.

If you are doing the poker run: You will need to be at the winery/restaurant by 4:30pm to have your hand processed.

The top three hands will be awarded prizes.

For the event Final, We will meet at Primitive Old Crow Winery where everyone can purchase their own food and drinks (brick oven pizza, ice cream, fudge, wine, beer or soda's)  and reveal the winning poker hands while sharing stories from the day. No purchase required to attend. The parking lot is gravel and then a couple small steps to a sidewalk that leads to the building. There will be a logbook for everyone to sign at the same long table where the poker cards are being distributed.

Please post your WILL ATTEND and the number of people in your group so that we may let the restaurant know how many to prepare for.
