Dasher52 dashes to 2000 finds!

Absolutely NO night caching!

A little over a year ago I was talking about geocaching and Dasher52 asked me what it was all about. Before I knew it, he had an account created and a dozen finds. Typically cachers get a 1000th find milestone cache, but Dasher52 moved too quickly for that. He found his 1000th in less than a year, and now he's going to hit 2000. This letterbox-hybrid is based on a cache that he and I enjoyed finding together. Congrats Dasher52 on 2000 finds.

--------------------------

1. Start at the posted coordinates. Look around and you should see a headstone that has a historic Supper depicted on it. Go to that headstone.

2. From that headstone you will need to do a projection. The distance for the projection is 1806 feet. Use the letters just below the Supper on the headstone to figure out the bearing. (A=1, B=2, C=3, etc.). 4th word, 1st letter. 6th word, 2nd letter. 1st word, 1st letter.

3. If you've done your projection correctly, you should end up in a patriotic location. From that location start walking at a bearing of 312° until you reach a spire similar to the Washington Monument. You may not see it at first because of the trees, but as you get closer you will see it.

4. Use the information found at the spire to go to N41 29.AAB W 087 22.CBD.
A=Last digit of Arthur's birth year (look for Arthur and Doris B)
B=Last digit of Daniel's birth year (look for Daniel and Gloria Z)
C=3rd digit of Gloria's birth year (same plaque as B)
D=1st digit of Helen's death year (look for Robert and Helen C)

5. You've arrived at a gnomes home. Now go 600 ft, bearing 68°. You'll pass another gnomes home and come to another home of sorts. Just beyond that, in the woods is the cache.

***Congrats Dasher52 on an honorary FTF***
