Recommended parking for this geocache is along Allendale Rd. This geocache is situated in a greenspace along Wolf Run Creek.
The Wolf Run Watershed is a tributary of Town Branch, which flows into Elkhorn Creek. The Wolf Run Watershed encompasses 6,514 acres, with 41% being impervious surfaces. Restoration began in February 2015 to improve water quality and eliminate sources of storm water runoff pollution. Members of the public can sign up to be a part of citizen groups to volunteer together on stream restoration projects. By doing this, kids, or adults can have fun and learn about their local area.
Please be mindful of the container the cache is in, as it does not need force to close it.
