Geocache Description:


This cache has been placed for the CARMH 10 event with the intention that it not be located prior to 6 PM, Friday, Aug. 16th. The caches for the CARMH 10 event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start.

This geo-art was placed specifically for the Southern Alberta Weekend Ten. We wanted to offer a more difficult hike as well as an easy walking trail. Caches 1 thru 14 are a higher terrain and will be a strenuous 4.5 km hike thru the coulee. Caches 15 thru 53 will be a more relaxed, but a lengthy 8.2 km hike, mainly down an asphalt path system from Gas City Campground to Echo Dale Park.


It is recommended to have a vehicle at either end of the trail, Gas City Campground and in Echo Dale Park


This cache is located in a high terrain area
