Welcome to the second Caledonian CacheFest. We are set in the wonderful Argyll & Bute village of Benderloch. The name is derived from Beinn eadar dà loch, meaning "mountain between two lochs". Benderloch is located near to Loch Creran to the northeast and Etive to the southwest and is between Oban and Glencoe. Places of interest include Barcaldine Castle, an early 17th-century tower house, the Scottish Sea Life & Marine Sanctuary lying a few miles north of the village and Ardchattan Priory Garden on the north shore of Loch Etive.
Caledonian CacheFest is an event with all that, that entails: you can meet other geocachers from near and far away, participate in interesting games, talks and workshops, shop among the attending geoshops and participate in other exciting activities. In the event hall you will also find a coffee shop, registration desk and Caley merchandise.
The weekend also is the host of other quality events where you can meet other friendly geocachers, or you can tour the area, where you'll find an abundance of geocaches of all shapes and sizes!
The venue is all on the ground floor, has toilets, dining facilities and is dog friendly.
Be sure to include the number of people in your party in your "Will Attend" log
