Seed Planting in the Long Meadow 10:00 – 12:00

Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).
Where: Meet us in the Long Meadow (published co-ordinates), look for the rangers truck.
What: Join us as we continue to boost the grassland restoration project in the Long Meadow. Over several years we have been collecting and planting seed from Hucclecote Meadows SSSI onsite. This has successfully seen an increase in species diversity on the grassland. This year we will continue with the project. Join us by the farm track at 10 am or find us in the Long Meadow.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and gloves. Please bring a hand fork or trowel if you have one.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction. They will introduce the session and do the health and safety brief prior to work commencing.
