Since there will be lots of celebrations commemerating the 50th anniversary of the landing on the moon, I thought about having an event to celebrate launching of Apollo 11, and what better place to celebrate than at the Visitor Center of the Goddard Space Flight Center. Apollo 11 was launched by a Saturn V rocket from Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida, on July 16 at 13:32 UTC, and was the fifth crewed mission of NASA's Apollo program.

It is located off ICESat Road. Once on ICESat Road, turn left into the Visitor Center prior to the security checkpoint.
Why: To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the launching of Apollo XI.
Who: Whoever wants to be there.
If the weather cooperates, I will be located underneath the trees by the picnic benches. If it is raining, I will be inside the Visitor's Center.
NASA Goddard Visitor Center will be open from 10am-3pm on July 16th.
