The sculptures often change and sometimes they even end up in
parades. Try to be observant and if you see any of these huge metal
sculptures around the area of Onaway, you can add them to your
answers.
Here are the questions that you need to answer to get credit for
this cache.
- What building are you in front of? (The sign out front should
help.)
- Of the sculptures in their front yard, what is your
favorite?
- For the next two questions, you'll have to drive about 1 mile
east into the town of Onaway to these coordinates: N45 21.487 W084
13.748... What building are you in front of?
- Of the sculptures in this building's front yard, what's your
favorite?
- PLEASE LOOK AROUND ONAWAY! Let me know what you find.
Hopefully you will get as much enjoyment out of these objects as
we did. If you happen to take a picture of any of the sculptures,
I'd love to see them, so please e-mail them to me along with your
answers. I'd really appreciate it. DON'T post these pictures to the
cache page. Thank You and Happy geocaching!
NOTE: the 2 places that I send you to don't seem to have many
sculptures and the ones that are around town seem to be really
moving. I found one sculpture by the Jesse Besser Museum in Alpena
(N 45 04.808, W083 26.923). South Lyon Trekkers have been very nice
about communicating with me and providing me with information about
where the sculptures move.
If there are any problems with your log entry, I will e-mail you
post-haste. If you want to receive documentation / pictures of this
site, and have found this cache, send me your e-mail address.
Please note that I am horrible with my response time to e-mails. I
do save all responses and when I feel like it, I send out
reassurance that your log entry is good and further information
about the area. So don't be surprised to get an e-mail from me
several weeks to several months from the time that you found the
cache. If you want more information and I haven't responded to you
fast enough or at all, just send me a nag e-mail. I will bump you
up on my priorities list. Thank you for your patience.
