Join Its the Watton Life community to clear rubbish from Watton
Following the success of previous CITOs in this a few yearsd ago at Thetford - Thorpe Forest, it's time to don your litter pickers again and join the volunteers from the Watton community to see how much junk you can find.
Location: St Mary's Church, watton, Thetford, Norfolk.
Activity: you will be joining a team of friendly volunteers to find and remove rubbish from the area. If you don't have your own pickers, you can borrow a pair from us and get stuck in, we will collect the rubbish fort he localcouncil to collect.
Notes: There will be a coffee morning at the church to buy tea, coffee and squash, cake will be provided for cachers. Coffee morning is from 10 am - 12pm. Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and choose old clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, also bring sun cream.
Public transport is a bit thin in this part of Norfolk, but there are local buses to and fromlocal towns and Norwich.
Free parking can be found opposite the church.
There is a large series of Caches we have set out a few weeks ago, all up and running that can be collected that tell you about the history of the Town, but please bare in mind some are rated diffciulty as high due to the large number of muggles around. On route there is also a Loch and lots of roads, so please keep little and four legged cachers safe. Series is It's the Watton Life 1
