..first held in 2003 by JoGPS as a way to bring “geocachers from all over” together. JoGPS says it started as “all about the numbers” but continues as “all about the number of new friends you make and smiles you share.” In 2006, GeoWoodstock became the first Geocaching Mega Event in the world and the first Giga event in the US in 2018!
GeoWoodstock has been the paramount Mega Event of the year in North America. Come and celebrate as we build a new chapter with rich history in the land of Bar-B-Que, Bourbon, and Bluegrass Music in Owensboro, Kentucky, just 1 hour from where it all began in 2003.
Event Registration
Registration and swag bundles will be available on the website, with pick-up will be available on Friday (the day before the main event) and Saturday (the main event.)

This event is designed to be free-flowing to meet other Geocachers, visit vendors, and enjoy Geo-activities!

The Planning of a Safe Event
GeoWoodstock is a massive, annual Geocaching Event, as such GeoWoodstock is a mostly outdoor event. The venue is rated to handle 25,000+ people, so social distancing is not a problem. All health and safety guidelines will be followed.
