Parking: There is some on street parking opposite the reserve on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
Where: Meet by the main gate on Lobleys Drive or find us in the fields, you should be able to spot the rangers truck.
What: Join us in trimming the paths (primp) or pulling ragwort (ragwort can quickly spread and is toxic to livestock), the ranger has also put in request to allow us to collect seeds from the wild flowers in the SSSI field, if this is granted we will be picking the seeds as the main event.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance, tools and gloves. Please bring your own if you prefer.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction. They will introduce the session and do the health and safety bit prior to work commencing. Please wear long sleeves and trousers as the ragwort sap cause skin irritation.
