War Memorial series is a national themed series of geocaches placed close to War Memorials. The series was started on 1st July 2014 and on 1st July 2018 we had the first War Memorial day on the birthday of the series. An unofficial souvenir was made available to all geocachers who placed or found a War Memorial cache. This year we are doing the same but also for the first time we are including event geocaches. If anyone would like to expand to this series please do, we would just ask that you could let Just-us-Two know first at justustwo1013@gmail.com so they can keep track of the memorial numbers and names to avoid any duplication.
We will remember them!

A chance to visit the village of Duxford and meet up with fellow cachers. Durham cachers Just-Us-Two who are the instigators and team behind running the War Memorial series are caching in the area so thought it would be nice to hold a war memorial event, come along and say "hello".

Where - The Plough pub in Duxford, CB22 4RP

The pub does not do food however they have said that should it be required, pizza can be ordered and delivered to the pub from the local takeaway. This is cash only.
