Un tesoro en La Concha
Donostia es una ciudad tremendamente bonita y a la vista está. Está considerada una de las más bonitas del mundo.
Os encontráis en la bahía de La Concha. Esta bahía está compuesta por dos playas (La Concha y Ondarreta) separadas por el Pico de Loro, un pequeño saliente de tierra por el que en marea baja se puede pasar y es transitado por los viandantes que pasean bajo los rayos del sol y la brisa del mar Cantábrico.
Esta bahía está formada a su vez por tres "trozos" de tierra: el monte Igeldo, la isla Santa Clara y el monte Urgull. (Mencionar que en cualquiera de ellos podemos encontrar diferentes cachés a los que os animamos que acudáis).
La posición de éstos tres hace que veáis lo que tenéis delante de los ojos.
Todo esto está bañado por el Mar Cantábrico que hace que con sus vaivenes y otros fenómenos atmosféricos hace que la costa vaya cogiendo estas formas tan bonitas.
Donostia se caracteriza también por sus gentes, su cultura, su floclore,... Los famosos pintxos que se pueden degustar en cualquier parte de la ciudad pero que parece ser típico de la Parte Vieja donde podremos contemplar la Iglesia de San Vicente y la de Santa María. Tras esta parte de la ciudad, en su día amurallada y que con el paso del tiempo fue abriéndose paso haciendo que la ciudad ganara en tamaño, se encuentra el Monte Urgull con su Castillo de la Mota coronado por el Sagrado Corazón.
En cuanto a la cultura...cabe mencionar el famoso Festival de Cine de San Sebastián que se celebra cada año en el mes de septiembre y al que acuden personajes del cine de todas partes del mundo. Su más preciado trofeo es La Concha de Oro con la que tantos direcores de películas ueñan.
También es famoso el Festival de Jazz que se celebra en verano llenando de música la ciudad y creando un ambiente estupendo. A éste vienen también muchos famosos cantantes y músicos del mundo.
En septiembre se celebra también la famosa "Bandera de La Concha" donde 8 traineras (ya en la ronda final) de diferentes partes del país se juegan en la final tan preciado trofeo. El primer fin de semana se hace una primera ronda donde salen los 8 clasificados para el segundo fin de semana donde se juegan en dos tandas la bandera. En la primera tanda compiten los clasificados en 5º, 6º, 7º y 8º lugar y en la tanda de honor los clasificados el fin de semana anterior en primer, segundo, tercer y cuarto puesto. Pero ésto no significa que la ganadora sea una de las traineras de la tanda de honor, ya ha pasado alguna vez que el ganador de la bandera sea alguno de la primera tanda. Ya se sabe, el mar, el viebto,... Ya van algunos años donde las mujeres también participan en la sección femenina y aseguro que las ganas y esfuerzo de ellas es como poco el mismo que el de ellos.

A treasure in La Concha
Donostia is a tremendously beautiful city and in sight it is. It is considered one of the most beautiful in the world.
You're in La Concha Bay. This bay is composed of two beaches (La Concha and Ondarreta) separated by Pico de Loro, a small ledge of land through which at low tide you can pass through and is transited by passers-by passersby that stroll under the sun rays and the breeze of the Cantabrian Sea.
This bay is in turn made up of three "pieces" of land: Mount Igeldo, Santa Clara Island and Mount Urgull. (Mention that in any of them we can find different caches that we encourage you to come to).
The position of these three makes you see what you have before your eyes.
All this is bathed by the Cantabrian Sea that makes with its swings and other atmospheric phenomena makes the coast take on these beautiful shapes.
Donostia is also characterized by its people, its culture, its floclore,... The famous pintxos that can be tasted anywhere in the city but that seems to be typical of the Old Town where we can contemplate the Church of San Vicente and that of Santa Maria. After this part of the city, in its walled day and that over time was making its way to make the city gain in size, is Mount Urgull with its Castle of the Mota crowned by the Sacred Heart.
As for the culture... it is worth mentioning the famous San Sebastian Film Festival that is held every year in September and is attended by film characters from all over the world. His most prized trophy is La Concha de Oro with which so many film dicores live.
Also famous is the Jazz Festival that is held in summer, filling the city with music and creating a great atmosphere. There are also many famous singers and musicians of the world.
In September there is also the famous "Flag of La Concha" where 8 traineras (already in the final round) from different parts of the country are played in the final so precious trophy. The first weekend is a first round where the 8 qualifiers for the second weekend come out where the flag is played in two rounds. In the first round, the qualifiers compete in 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th place and in the honor sand the previous weekend in first, second, third and fourth place. But this does not mean that the winner is one of the traineras of the honor roll, it has ever happened that the winner of the flag is one of the first round. You know, the sea, the old man,... There are a few years where women also participate in the women's section and I assure that the desire and effort of them is at the very little the same as theirs.
