Sosna krocząca zwana też Sosną na Szczudłach w Wełczu koło Buska Zdroju to wielka osobliwość Ponidzia. Jak głosi tabliczka kierująca do atrakcji, jest to sosna pospolita, ale nic bardziej mylnego :) Na trasie z Pińczowa do Buska Zdroju, w Wełczu pod lasem odwiedzić warto unikatowe drzewo. To 100-letnia sosna pospolita rosnąca przy zboczu niewielkiego wzniesienia. Dlaczego jest taka dziwna? Ano kształtem przypomina pająka lub inne zwierzę z odnóżami, dlatego mówi się o niej sosna krocząca.
Osobliwy kształt nadają korzenie drzewa wystające ponad powierzchnię i to na wysokość aż 3 metrów. Niemal cały system korzeni jest tu odsłonięty, dając tym samym niesamowity widok.
Ta niecodzienna sosna wygląda tak a nie inaczej z powodu obniżenia poziomu terenu, spowodowanego dawną eksploatacją piasku w tym miejscu przez mieszkańców wsi. To ludzie odsłonili korzenie, a reszta piasku i gleby została wypłukana przez wodę i wywiana przez wiatr. Dziś jej korzenie jakby wiszą w powietrzu a pomiędzy nimi jest wolna przestrzeń, w której zmieści się nawet kilka osób. To ciekawe przeżycie chodzić pomiędzy korzeniami drzewa, niedostępne nigdzie indziej.
Co ciekawe, sosna w Wełczu jest całkiem zdrowa, to potężne i silne drzewo, a od 2002 roku stanowi pomnik przyrody. To świetna atrakcja dla młodych odkrywców.

Zadania:

1. Z tablicy informacyjnej odczytaj nazwę widniejącą w nawiasie (...) i prześlij mi ją za pomocą formularza kontaktowego.
2. Wykonaj zdjęcie na tle tej wyjątkowej sosny - mile widziane straszne zdjęcie ;) Nie musisz znajdować się na zdjęciu, lecz Twoje urządzenie GPS lub aplikacja na telefonie wyświetlająca współrzędne. Fotkę dołącz do dziennika :)

The rolling pine also known as Sosna on the Szczudles in Welecz near Busko Zdrój is a great peculiarity of Ponidzie. As the tablet says to the attractions, it is a pine, but nothing more wrong :) On the route from Pińczów to Busko Zdrój, in Welecz near the forest, a unique tree is worth visiting. It is a 100-year-old pine growing at the side of a small hill. Why is she so strange? Well, the shape resembles a spider or other animal with legs, which is why it is referred to as a pine tree.
A peculiar shape is given by the roots of a tree protruding above the surface and up to a height of up to 3 meters. Almost the entire root system is unveiled here, giving an amazing view.
This unusual pine looks like this and not otherwise because of the lowering of the level of the area caused by the former exploitation of sand in this place by the inhabitants of the village. It was the people who uncovered the roots, and the rest of the sand and soil were washed away by the water and blown by the wind. Today, its roots are hanging in the air and there is a free space between them, in which even a few people can fit. It's an interesting experience to walk between tree roots, not available anywhere else.
Interestingly, the pine in Welecz is quite healthy, it is a powerful and strong tree, and since 2002 is a natural monument. It is a great attraction for young explorers.
