Bruket vid Axmar strömmar
1672 stod det nya bruket färdigt och kom sedan att under de närmaste 100 åren att tillhöra familjen Behm, ägare till flera av de Gästrikländska bruken. Brita Behm, allmänt kallad Järn-Brita, blev 85 år gammal och hade vid sin död 1755 varit brukets härskare i 58 år.
1927 användes Hyttan sista gången. Vintern 1971-1972 restaurerades byggnaden och Hyttan är i dag öppen för besök sommartid.
1970 revs slottet, som tyvärr lämnats att förfalla. Parkområdet, omgärdat av en stenmur med en total längd av 1 km, har fortfarande kvar mycket av sin ursprungliga skönhet med mäktiga lövträd, spegeldammar och ett välbevarat lusthus. Området är öppet för allmänheten under hela året.

1. Lusthuset
Vid lusthuset finns en informationsskylt. Ta det sista ordet i det engelska Summary= WP1
2. Kvarnen
Vid kvarnen finns en informationsskylt. Ta det sista ordet i det engelska Summary= WP2
3. Utsikt över dammen - fotoplats
Ta en bild på dig själv med lusthuset i bakgrunden. Antingen med hela ansiktet synligt eller med en skriven lapp där ditt geocachingnamn och datumet då du besöker cachen står. (Se foton nedan)
För att verifiera ditt besökt ska du:
1. Skicka in dina svar från fråga 1(WP1) och 2(WP2) (i ett ord) till WP1WP2@gmail.com och ange ditt geocachingnamn i ämnesraden. Inget gruppmail, ett mejl/geocachare. Svaren på frågorna ger dig mejladressen.
Du får ett autosvar som bekräftelse om du skrivit in rätt ord.
2. Bifoga bilden på dig själv i din logg.
Därefter kan du logga cachen. OM det finns några funderingar hör jag av mig.

The industrial unit at Axmar streams
In 1672 the new iron works was completed and then came to belong to the Behm family, the owner of several of the Gästrikland industrial units, over the next 100 years. Brita Behm, commonly called Iron-Brita, was 85 years old and had at the time of her death in 1755 been the ruler of the iron works for 58 years.
In 1927 the smeltery was used for the last time. The winter of 1971-1972, the building was restored and today the smeltery “Hyttan” is open for visits during the summer.
In 1970, the castle was demolished, which unfortunately was left to decay. The park area, surrounded by a stone wall with a total length of 1 km, still retains much of its original beauty with mighty deciduous trees, mirror ponds and a well-preserved gazebo. The area is open to the public throughout the year.
Since 2011, Axmar Bruk has been a cultural reserve. For more information about Axmar bruk (unfortunately only in Swedish).

Logging tasks
You need to visit three places to gather information and take a photo of yourself.
1. The Gazebo
At the Gazebo you’ll find an information board. Take the last word you find in the English Summary= WP1
2. The Mill
At the Mill you’ll find an information board. Take the last word you find in the English Summary= WP2
3. View over the Pond
Take a photo of yourself with the Gazebo in the background. You can either take a photo with all your face visible or with a paper in front of you with your geocaching name and the date you visit the cache. (Se photos above)
To verify your visit you should:
1. Send your answer from question 1(WP1) and 2(WP2) (in one word) to WP1WP2@gmail.com and write your geocaching name in the subject field. No group mail, one mail/geocacher. The answers on the questions will give you your e-mail address.
You’ll receive an auto reply if your answer is correct.)
2. Attach the photo on yourself to the found log.
After that it's free to log the cache. If any questions, I'll be in touch.
