MEDA DA ROCALVA
Situada no município de Terras De Bouro, na freguesia de Vilar De Veiga, a Meda da Rocalva é um dos bons exemplos da paisagem granítica do Parque Nacional.
Este geossítio é o exemplo mais representativo da paisagem granítica que ocorre no Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês. Trata-se do melhor exemplo de uma geoforma granítica do tipo meda, destacando-se na paisagem pela sua dimensão e configuração cónica bem no centro da serra do Gerês.

Para registar esta cache virtual deve deslocar-se às coordenadas iniciais, dentro da pia a Norte do ponto mais alto da Meda e tirar uma foto do geocacher tipo selfie, não é necessário mostrar a cara, com a Roca Negra como pano de fundo. Em alternativa uma foto no mesmo local com o nick do geocaching. Coloque a foto juntamente com o seu registo. Registos, sem a foto solicitada, serão eliminados.
MEDA OF ROCALVA
Located in the municipality of Terras De Bouro, in the parish of Vilar De Veiga, Meda of Rocalva is one of the good examples of the granite landscape of the National Park.
This geosite is the most representative example of the granite landscape that occurs in the Peneda-Gerês National Park. It is the best example of a granite geoform of the Meda type, standing out in the landscape for its size and conical configuration right in the center of the Gerês mountain range.
It has as neighbors the Cutelo de Pias and Roca Negra.
